Gary Shambat, Ph.D student at Stanford University, will show how Stanford’s Nanoscale and Quantum Photonics Lab has demonstrated world record low power lasers and low power and fast LEDs using a technique to electrically integrate nanophotonic devices known as photonic crystal cavities.
