Lightboard Multi-Purpose Studio

The physics & astronomy department has recently added a lightboard studio to its multi-purpose laboratory space!

What's a Lightboard?

The lightboard is very similar to a traditional white or blackboard, except it is transparent and uses special luminescent ink. This makes it a particularly useful tool for remote teaching, demonstration videos, and presentations because it means the user never has to turn their back to the camera. Not only this, but the filming studio set up around it allows for excellent quality presentations & sound.

How can I use this?

Due to COVID-19, this space is currently only open to physics & astronomy faculty & staff. When this changes there will be a webform link available to sign up for a time-slot to use this space. For any questions, please contact Ryan Meder at:
