Sonoma State University’s first physics graduate received her degree in 1967. Today SSU has 396 physics graduates. The Department of Physics and Astronomy takes deep pride in its alumni and is pleased that so many have kept in touch.

Commencement Photos
One of our traditions is a picture of the physics students taking part in Commencement ceremonies each year. Some of these are now available here ("f" means with faculty):
Graduates receive the Department’s annual newsletter and, if they wish, announcements of the What Physicists Do public lecture series and of Public Viewing Nights at the SSU Observatory. If you are one of our graduates with whom we have lost contact, please send updates, especially information as to how we may contact you.
