Research Interests:
- Development of 1-meter robotic telescope Galbreath Wildlands Preserve Observatory (GWPO)
- Astronomical instrumentation (with particular emphasis on the near-infrared and adaptive optics)
- High spatial-resolution astronomy including the central regions of galaxies (QSOs and AGN) and planetary science (Jupiter, Saturn and their moons; comets and planetary atmospheres)
- Development of next-generation adaptive optics systems (utilizing MEMS technology) and their astronomical applications
